The first thing I said to Ruby after she was born and was placed into my arms was this
"You will live your life in diapers, because I will never potty train another child. Ever again."
And then I snuggled her close and told her I loved her.
She decided about 2 weeks ago she doesn't like diapers anymore.
She wants to be big. And she didn't even know about cute underwear at the time.
Zack's batman undies were only exciting for a few days.
I'll save you the stinky details but here are a few funny stories
Running around in Zack's undies, "Dadda, whats that wet?"
pointing to the puddle on the floor.
One night, exhausted I forgot I was on potty watch. Pretty soon she was
squatting on the kitchen floor with a massive puddle under her.

I grabbed her and she peed on my shoe as we ran down the stairs.
Cutest thing ever...
after discussing what we should do next time, accessing the wet pony panties,
I discover my shoe is wet and I casually said "You peed on my shoe"
She says "Oh, sorry Momma". Cute girl.
Love her. She seriously is the sweetest thing.
I've only had 2 potty training experiences, one was a nightmare.
It lasted 2 years, and still comes back to visit occasionally.
The second was exhausting, yet liberating, and it lasted only 7 days.
I might be able to do this again....
I think one thing that made potty training Ruby easier is that I had done it once before.
Some of my expectations for Zack were unrealistic and I didn't fully get
what he did or didn't understand. I've learned a lot from experience and I read a LOT
before taking on the challenge with Ruby. Although the fact that she was willing
and ready made a big big difference.
