I was just thinking I should email Grandma Rita with some pictures from Ruby's b-day in case
I don't blog again for a while. Then I realized that if I just blog it would be about the same
amount of work. So here you go Grandma and Grandpa!
Money and a teeny tiny purse from Grandma and Grandpa West.
Dang it, I didn't get a picture of the pops!
(She is still popping them at this very moment)
Birthday lunch, She wanted rainbow cupcakes, ice cream,
hot chocolate and broccoli soup.
We settled with a heart shaped turkey sandwich with plenty of pickles!
A rare good photo moment with Zack.
Curse his glaring glasses!
Texting her sister Reesie. She kept telling me to be
quiet because she needed to make a phone call.
On to the birthday party!
I got a good deal on Jungle Jims passes and I think every one had a great time.
Especially Grandma Karen!
The swings were one of this girls favorites
Grandpa trying to touch hands
Proof that Zack was there. Debatable from the picture
whether he had a good time or not...
Fulfilling a life long dream of Grandpa's to ride in a
mini Jeep with Luke.
(By the way.... Dad you look 20 years younger in this pic!)
Look at this fun grandma!
I think Ruby's FAV ride, because it is the fastest. Emily was SOOO
nice to ride it with you!
It was hard to get a good picture of the carousel,
always a big hit for Ruby.
This is where things went wrong. This ride made her really dizzy and she rode it twice.
Bella brought Ruby over and Ruby told me she needed to throw up.
I thought maybe she was exaggerating but off to the bathroom we went.
It was almost comical to watch her try to throw up. I should have taken a picture.
They have this teeny tiny toilet and her is Ruby hugging that thing trying to throw up.
We visited once more but she never threw up. It sure upset her for about an hour or so.
We wont be doing THAT ride anymore!
A shocking smile.
Post hugging toilet.
Singing Happy Birthday, Grandpa trying to budge a smile out of her.
Apparently not a fan of presents. Whatsoever.
Look at these faces!
Doesn't get better than that!
She really wasn't feeling very well.
Finally got a good smile after she won some tickets
and bought herself a sucker
Highlight of the day.
(I must give credit where credit is due)
These skates are from Ruby's favorite aunt LEA.
She immediately took off by herself and only fell a few times.
She has skating blood on both sides of the fam
Zack raced along side. He wants skates SO bad. I'm trying to
convince him that roller blades might be a more appropriate choice
for someone his age. He tried Ruby's skates on but his shoes
wouldn't fit so he just wore socks. He had a pretty hard time.
Looks like I know what to get him for his bday.
Ruby loved racing up and down the street with Daddy on her skates.
Had a great day celebrating Ruby. She has so many people that love her and spoiled
her with fun presents today and yesterday. What a lucky girl!
