What I thought was going to be a fun little afternoon in the rain...
turned nightmare, right after this picture was taken.
Ruby and I were walking in the driveway when she lost her balance and fell on her bum. And, like I have
done millions of times with both my kids, I grabbed her arm and pulled her up. Right away I knew
something was wrong. She was screaming. At first I couldn't figure out what was wrong, but she
had that different cry, almost to say "Seriously Mom! I'm hurt and just holding me isn't going to help!"
I moved her arm around, seemed to be moving just fine, I couldn't figure what her deal was. She
wouldn't move her hand though, I knew that was a bad sign. I drove her to the insta-care because we had
already been to see her pediatrician that morning so I wasn't going up there again. After an agonizing
30 minutes of waiting and her crying and me trying to distract her with a book, while scheming how
I was going to ward off child protective services. We got called back, Dr comes in, asks what
happened, says "oh yeah, nurses elbow". Grabs her arm, moves it in funky ways, and it's over.
That's it. WHEW!

PRECIOUS!
Checking out the fireman statues in Sandy
Good times at our friends cabin in July
Zack took this picture of me, not too bad...
Boys looking for buried treasure!
Dancing to the 24th of July parade
24th of July Bees game
snowie tongue
This is what Ruby looks like every morning before we do her hair. Hoping its
not this difficult as she gets older. Boys are so lucky they can just to the
wash and wear.
Stay tuned for
