Zack- feelin alive at 5!

Our Zackey turned 5 a few weeks ago.
We started the weekend off with a hunt for Zack's present.

I think he likes it ! (a few days later a belated gift came for his bike that included a
police light and VERY LOUD SIREN, what was I thinking?)
He has been patrolling the neighborhood ever since.

Mom had to take some pictures, we weren't having cooperation from neither Zack or the balloons

We finally started having fun and realized the 5 was backwards

Next on the agenda was a Wild Kratt's Party!
Wild Kratt's is a show on PBS that is about animals.
Zack wanted a Spiderman party until I told him we could do a
Wild Kratt's party and he wanted it hands down.

So I whipped up 9 creature power suits!
Ruby's was the cutest. When she put it on she said
"I rescue heroes" in her man voice.
(Rescue heroes are some firemen and policemen action figures Zack has)

We played some games for the kids to earn their creature power badges that turned
them into the animal on the badge.

On to the main event....

Our neighbors have a nice assortment of animals and very graciously let us come over
and visit (terrorize them)
They have 2 lambs, 2 sheep, 3 ducks, 3 geese and 2 ponies

Oh yeah and ride all of their power wheels :)

All the kids rode the pony except the birthday boy. He is funny about those kinds of things.
One of the boys got off the horse and was covered in horse hair.
Still wearing his creature power suit I said "Ryan, you turned into a horse!"
I don't think he really got it

Soon it was present time- Transformers all around.
Zack sure has great friends that know what he wanted!

After the party we rushed to the Front Runner station to ride the train up to the
Gateway Mall with Zack's cousin Miles and my brother Aaron.
Waiting for the train

HAD to bring the new transformers along

Ruby loved the train

Got to the Gateway and discovered water.... which was great for these 2.

This one doesn't appreciate water so much. Every picture of him is running away.

These 2 are the cutest cousins ever.

After the water Ruby and Miles were soaked so we visited Old Navy and bought
them all new outfits. We were riding the train home so we figured we better not have them
sopping wet. After that we went to dinner at the food court.
Finished off the night with treats at Culvers. YUM!

What a fun day.
So glad Zack could have a birthday!
